Shore & Table Recipe Testers
Volunteer recipe testers wanted for the Florida Gulf Coast cookbook project.
Thank you for your interest in helping test recipes for the future Shore & Table: Florida Gulf Coast cookbook project.
Over the next year, I’ll be developing, refining, and testing recipes inspired by the seafood, traditions, and communities that make Florida’s Gulf Coast unique. Recipe testers play an important role in helping to make sure recipes are accurate, easy to follow, and enjoyable to make in a real home kitchen.
No professional experience is required. In fact, I welcome a variety of cooking skill levels and backgrounds.
How It Works
Complete the Recipe Tester Sign-Up Form.
I’ll contact testers as recipes become available.
Selected testers will receive recipes and testing instructions by email.
Prepare the recipe in your own kitchen.
Complete the Recipe Feedback Form.
Optional: Share photos of your results.
Most recipes will be tested by 2–4 people before final approval.
What I’m Looking For
Honest feedback is always more helpful than positive feedback.
Please let me know:
Were the instructions clear?
Did the recipe work as written?
Was the timing accurate?
Were ingredient amounts correct?
Would you make it again?
What would you change?

Before You Sign Up
Recipe testing is completely voluntary and intended for home cooks who enjoy being part of the creative process.
Testers prepare recipes in their own kitchens, purchase their own ingredients, and provide honest feedback about what worked, what didn’t, and what could be improved.
Not every recipe will make it into the final cookbook, and some may require multiple rounds of testing before they’re finished.
My goal is to create the best cookbook possible, and your feedback helps make that happen.
Acknowledgments
I’m grateful for everyone who helps along the way. While I can’t promise what the final book will look like, I’d love to recognize the people who contribute to the project whenever possible.
